Privacy Policy

cadency is built to help you post consistently. The app works as a planning and reminder tool: you choose platforms and posting windows, and cadency can send gentle notifications when a window opens.

1) Information you provide

cadency may store the following information on your device:

  • Platforms you select (for example: TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
  • Posting windows you create or enable (days and times).
  • Optional preferences you choose in onboarding (for example: creator focus, creator size).
  • Optional profile details you provide (for example: age range, interests). You can skip these.
Important: cadency is a planning and reminder tool. It does not publish your content for you and does not access your social accounts.

2) Information we do not collect

cadency does not collect:

  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contact lists
  • Social media logins, passwords, or tokens
  • Direct messages, comments, followers, or analytics from social platforms
  • Precise location data
  • Advertising identifiers

3) How we use information

cadency uses your selected platforms, posting windows, and optional preferences to:

  • show your schedule (weekly or monthly)
  • generate reminders when a posting window opens (if enabled)
  • suggest default windows and small tips to help you stay consistent

4) Storage

By default, your schedule is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud backup or iCloud Drive for your device, iOS may include app data in your device backups.

5) Permissions

  • Notifications: used only to remind you about posting windows (optional).

You can manage permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → cadency.

6) Subscriptions

If you purchase a Pro subscription, billing is processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment information. Apple may provide us with subscription status (for example, whether Pro is active) so the app can unlock features.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your Apple ID settings.
  • You can manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
  • If Pro does not unlock after reinstalling, use Restore Purchases in the app.

8) Children’s privacy

cadency is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not require accounts and does not request personal identifiers.

9) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when changes were made.
